Subject: [canberrabirds] Satin Bowerbird in Holt

A Satin Bowerbird in the garden this morning.  The first after 34 years at this address.  The newly arrived HANZAB tell me that it was an adult female, but why does the colour plate on p 896 show a red iris?  I am wondering what is happening in Holt after the Spangled Drongo of last week.  Mind you, I am glad to say that my Doctor has told me how please he is with the new drugs that he has prescribed for me.  Apparently the hallucinations are not as bad as they used to be.
