Greetings. On Mon 17 April Noela and I spent 6 hours
in the Baldy Range area of Brindabella National Park,
Doctors Road and to its north. A reasonable bird list,
considering that this was one of the epicentres of the
Jan 2003 fires. The list is at the end of this
message.
The highlight of highlights was two Wonga Pigeons.
They were the first that I have seen in areas burned
in 2003, and what a delight to see them again! Have
others picked up this species in regenerating burned
areas?

PS Elizabeth, no HE migration to speak of, but we did
not start till around 11 am.
