The very first outing of the BOCA (then BOC) that I
went on, in 1970, somewhere east of Melbourne, we all watched a pair of
Rose Robins and a pair of Pink Robins together, simultaneously in the same
small bush. Everyone was most pleased. I didn't appreciate how special it was at
the time (I was just 13).
