A Shining bronze-cuckoo was foraging in eucalypts near the Drill Hall at ANU last Wednesday (29 March).  The ACT Atlas and Philip Veerman's book show a small abundance of this species in March before the annual low point in April - presumably fuelling up for the trip north.

I imagine this guy is one of the last for the season.
