Were they at the Shepherds lookout turnoff. I saw them a
few times there last year but havent seen them more
recently.
Hopefully they are back for good.

There is a small group of Diamond
Firetail Finches along the road down to the Molonglo Water Treatment works
in far west Belconnen. I’ve seen them several times over the last 2 weeks. The
last time they were half way down the steep hill to the treatment
works.
