A couple of recent sightings that people might be interested
in:
At Fyshwick SP, 6.30 p.m. Saturday, 2 Black Kites
flying over the ponds and perching in a dead willow.
At Tharwa
Sandwash this morning (Sunday) 10.00 a.m., at least 10 Rainbow Bee-eaters,
mostly immatures, moving north-east. Also a young Grey Butcherbird. Other spp.
present included White-throated gerygone (heard), kestrel , YF honey-eaters, Varied sittella
and numerous Red-Rumped Parrots.
