where were they?
They have been on Lake
Ginninderra penninsula (ie Diddams Close Park) for at least the last
couple of years. From the spot where the cormorants preen (ie SW
Diddams park), just up the hill there are a bunch of small shrubs where
they often were.
But I only have seen a maximum
of 6, so they may have bred.

Saw a small flock of around
10-12 of D-b Finches on Lake Ginninderra yesterday. Not something I
normally see around the lake. Maybe they've had a particularly good
breeding year?
