Saw a Lewin's Rail feeding in the channel at Kelly's (Crake Creek) for a minute or so around 8.50am. At least one Spotless Crake in the same area and 3 snipe. Also a strange little ball of a bird that turned out to be a Little Grassbird that had somehow lost its tail. Had me baffled for a while.
