Well James,
I see nothing in your pictures that enables a distinction between Satin & Leaden Flycatchers but it is definitely one (or maybe both) of them. These can be hard at any time. Strangely I suggest the only useful ID clue in these vague pictures (as they come through to me) is the bill width. Now I have just looked at 3 books, two of which compare the bill width between the Broad-billed and Leaden Flycatchers but they don't have the courtesy (or usefulness) to even mention where the Satin Flycatcher fits in this aspect. Why do they do that? I suspect there is a difference in bill width between the Satin and Leaden Flycatchers but can't say what. I guess you will need to wait till HANZAB 7 comes out or consult with someone familiar with skins at ANWC or similar (like Mark Clayton).
