Yesterday at about 8.10 p.m. I was standing by my back door watching a sky writer plane write "Celebrate!" (upside down from Kambah angle), when I saw my first White-throated Needletails for this summer (and I have been looking most days). Just 7 of them (4 at one time) each flying very high and travelling southwest. I have not noticed others reporting them yet on this line. It is right on time for their being here.
