There was a small group (5-6) in the eucalypts at the northern (Mall)
end of the Belconnen markets carpark at around 5.30 today (Monday).
Didn't have the binos, but I could only see one mature male in the
group. This appears to be a regular late afternoon stopover for the Superbs.
Following on from Benj Whitworth's food musings, the male seemed to be
eating lerps (or something) off the gum leaves. I'm hopelessly ignorant
when it comes to eucalypts, but the gum it was in seemed to have sprays
of green buds on it rather than flowers, so I don't think there was any
nectar to be had. And the male was definitely working its way along the
leaves.

I was at the Belconnen markets at 9.10 am today (Sunday) and saw a flock of
about 15-20 heading for Macquarie.

I saw a group of seven at the markets at 8.30 yesterday morning.
Small groups seen at home in Scullin several times a day now too.
