The 2 sandpipers/greenshanks? were at Kelly's at 3:30 -4:30 today. The bills were certainly upturned and when disturbed flew off quickly with a ringing call. They were flying and feeding between the Crake Alley (site 7 on the COG wesite map) and the sand bar about 20metres towards the wetland centre. I looked in vain for the Spotless Crakes but 1 Buff-banded Rail was easily seen from the Bittern Hide. The spoonbill was still there. Lots of other  usual birds were present.
