While visiting Kellys Swamp this morning a Brown songlark was in the
paddock off to the right of the carpark. Was calling strongly while
flying in typical fashion with wings upswept etc etc.
Also flushed two quail which i presumed to be Stubble quail but wasn't sure. They did have very obvious pale to white leading edge markings that were visible when fluttering in for a landing.
