Went to coppins crossing. Saw at least 3 male white winged trillers, about 12 dusky woodswallows and 2 dependent young- yellow gape, grey currawong with 2 dependent young, mistletoe bird, male and female scarlet robin, lots of rufous whistlers, 3 rainbow bee-eaters- possibly some young birds but didn’t get good enough view. White winged choughs. No speckled warblers seen.

There is also a native grassland between the pine forest and the river, with kangaroo grass, chocolate lilies and onion orchids. Most St Johns Wort had beetles on them.


Earlier, saw 2 rufous songlarks at Cooleman ridge.
