Hi All,
John appears to be in very good company with this
observation. At the COG meeting last night, Henry Nix reported one of these
birds. (I didn't catch the details but I assume it was recently and I think near
his house at O'Connor.) No one else has mentioned it here but it is worth
mentioning. Also Jack Holland espoused his observation (consistent with
that which I have earlier detailed in print, as below) that the species is
showing up more often in Canberra in recent years. Wouldn't it be fun one day to
have Canberra's currawongs rearing baby Channel-billed Cuckoos.
