I have driven by the patch of
remnant Eucs at the corner of Bindubi and William Hovell for years but
never stopped. Yesterday afternoon I stopped. I didn’t see many birds, but on
Bindubi- West of the road and South of the Community garden, in a
patch/windbreak of remnant and plantings. I saw-
1 Grey currawong, a group of 5
Brown headed honeyeaters, flock of ww choughs not sure how many but at least 7,
2 striated thornbills, plus heaps of fairy wrens and other expecteds. The
windbreak almost stretches to Mt Painter.
