Thank you for your temperate response.
 
Why did I write "species of red-tailed black-cockatoo" rather than "glossy black-cockatoo"? I'll put it down to a hasty, careless glance at the illustration.
 
When I write, for example, Ground Parrot the Canberra Times will inevitably change it to ground parrot. Likewise, they will usually delete the scientific names.
