I spent Sunday morning dodging the showers, but like other reports, found a surprising number of birds around, especially early on when there was no wind.

Highlights of 71 species (mostly the eastern side of Mulligans and northern Gooroo) were Superb Parrot and Red-capped Robin, with breeding records of Hooded Robin and Varied Sittella.  Plus an interesting sighting of 4 Shining Bronze-Cuckoos involved in frenetic courting and copulation - all four together!

Alas, no Brown Treecreeper at Southern Gooroo - the lone bird has not been seen there for some time.

cheers
Jenny
