friend at Chifley reports a s. bowerbird in tree
mimicking her b collie's bark for c. 1 hr recently.

last week i observed resident cr. pigeon female
having a rest, lying low in grass out back garden: then the male commenced
busy running around her in circles for some minutes; paused, about turn, did
same encircling in other direction; then mounted her and mated; then hopped off
and did some tender grooming behind her neck; before both trotted orf together.
Interesting courtship dance?
