COGites, unfortunately the October Gang-gang contained only part of the program for the meeting on 12 October at 8pm at Canberra Girls Grammar School. After a short AGM, we’ll have the advertised short talk by Suzi Bond, on “Bringing breeding birds back”. Suzi was the recipient of a grant from COG’s Canberra Birds Conservation Fund to undertake an honours project on whether woodland birds were attempting to breed in revegetation sites – come and hear what she found! Then the missing piece de resistance of the evening will be a short talk and video presentation by Geoff Dabb, on “Woodland breeding hotspots – the East O’Malley example”. A not-to-be-missed evening. Everybody welcome.

Barbara Allan, COG secretary
