Greetings all,

Today's stroll around Lake G. turned up a couple of freshly built Magpie Lark nests and a pair of W-F Herons on a nest that looked to be close to finished. And a closer look at one of the nailed-to-the-perch young darters revealed a primary sticking out at right-angles to the wing, leading me to speculate that their apparent reluctance to fly might be because they're moulting. Is this likely?
