Following the discussion about bowers I returned to one I had discovered several weeks ago in Kambah.
 
It was decorated with many blue things, straws, bottle tops, tape, blue feathers etc, as well as some yellow bits.  This was a surprise to me as we also saw a male collecting cockatoo crest feathers.  Yellow items included yellow feathers and dried leaves that were very pale yellow.
 
So the natural collection comprised of blue and yellow feathers and dried pale yellow leaves.
 
The blues were pretty much the same hue, a paler blue tape was further from the bower as if discarded, and the yellows were of a similar hue to cockatoo crest feathers.
