Hi All

(1) The swans nesting on Gininderra Peninsular, mentioned in the beginners class report ( 7th august i think), were still sitting yesterday morning about 0800.
At that time the second adult was nearby (unusual). This morning (28 aug) at about the same time, neither bird was sitting but both were swimming and eating      within five metres of the nest.
I could see no cygnets. Did anybody see the swan sitting prior to 7/8 ?

(2) There were 14plus gang gangs on the penisular yesterday morning.
(3) I am not sure whether they have been reported yet this year or not - i know someone said someone else should look - but there are at least two seagulls sitting      on eggs, or at least on nests, on yachts, on Lake Burley Griffin in the region of Yarralumla Bay.
