At the risk of offending all, given your
observations of ANU researchers, may I suggest that any COGs chat line members
approaching Crescent Honeyeater and Satin Bowerbird area, as currently defined,
flash a hand signal displaying curved thumb and juxtaposed index finger in same
curve to connote crescent or bower. That will avoid embarassing human
interaction with other members. Of course it may cause
problems with non-chat line members...
