From that alone, if the tail was long, I'd
give it 99% on being a Whistling Kite. If the tail was short, I'd give
it 60% on being a Little Eagle, although a Little Eagle usually shows its
tail as very square. A long, unmarked, pale, rounded tail is almost as good as
diagnostic of a Whistling Kite. The Little Eagle's wings also are more
rectangular (rather than fingered or rounded wings of a Whistling Kite.
Most Little Eagles here are the pale form, so wouldn't usually give the
impression of being dark in a quick look.
