Following a tip last week from a near-incredulous Michael Braby that there
was a white-winged A Raven at the ANU I went down to look for it this
afternoon. It was at the reported spot on the Sullivans Ck side of the
lower sportsground. The most interesting effect is when it flies because
almost all the primaries are pure white - something like a WW Chough only
more white areas. From the brownish iris I take it to be a young bird,
although it looks fully-developed otherwise.
