Martin - You may wish to mention, perhaps
casually, at the next meeting of the Jamaica Bay Audubon Chapter, if
you can be heard above the scream of the jets departing from JFK,
that according to HANZAB, our Australian reference, the Rufous Night
Heron not only feeds on newly-hatched sea-turtles but, at Raine Island (north
Queensland), times its breeding to coincide with the emergence of the turtle
hatchlings.
