Hi Paul

Thanks for this useful information. It is not clear to me from the manual
whether the "save" and "save" as options are equivalent to the "save for
web" option that PhotoShop has. To me this is a key feature I would not want
to loose. Comments?

Another Photoshop-like program is GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program):
   http://www.gimp.org

Like Photoshop, it's a full-featured image creation and manipulation
program; unlike Photoshop, it's free open source software.  Pre-built
packages are available for Linux, Windows and MacOS X.
