Kelly Road starts 4.5 km south of Williamsdale on the Monaro Hwy.
When I last went past the sign was missing. Kelly Rd rejoins the Hwy some kms south.
Turnoff to the left (watch for fast traffic behind) and cross the railway line to the corner.
The paddock east of the corner is good for Brown Treecreeper, S Whiteface etc.
Downhill on the left look for Diamond Firetail on dead veg. and Pipit on the ground.
The area around the old houses is not very productive but we saw a Nankeen Night-heron in the pine trees.
Further along you will come to a TSR with horses in on the left, there are often birds in this area.
At about this point a track enters from the Hwy. Look around this intersection for Hooded Robins.
Along the road south from this point look for Fuscous HE among the White-plumed HE.
The good birding continues for about 200 m past the intersection on the left.
