Last week I saw a White-plumed Honeyeater and a Willy wagtail in our garden. Both are the first since the fires. And yesterday, Sunday morning, a Kookaburra was laughing from McQuoid's Hill, CNP opposite, while last night, when I was out late collecting Rosemary from the garden to wear on Anzac Day, I heard a Southern Boobook calling. Really, a big week on Kambah Pool Road. Hopefully some of our birds are increasing in numbers.
