COG has been approached by ACT Parks and Conservation Service regarding planned willow poisoning and removal between the silt trap and Jerrabomberra Pool. We are asked if we know of any particular trees which are favoured as nesting or perching sites, so they can be saved. The plan is to poison the willows on one side of the creek only; and only to remove some and to leave some standing (as was done last year in work around the silt trap). If anyone can assist, pls respond in the first instance to me and I will consolidate responses for P&C. Thanks, Barbara Allan, COG secretary
