Thanks for the information Michael. I
hopped on the Vespa and found the Regent Honeyeater where Michael described, in
a stand of E. viminalis? He was quite vocal with a call that sounded like ‘quip
quip’. While not associating with resident Red Wattlebirds, their
presence was a good indicator of where the RH was feeding.

a group of eucalypts at the NE corner of the Banks Wing of Zoology & Botany
Dept.).
P.S. Also still 60 Swift Parrots (conservative figure)
Hackett/Mt Majura early morning today.
