Friends were bush walking at Booroomba Staion yesterday. Jo was keeping an
eye out for YFHEs. They were first observed at 11.30am flying in from the
mountains to the west, then following south along Blue Gum Creek towards a
saddle in the hills. There were many birds and they were still flying at
3.30pm when the walkers left the property. Looking at the map, these birds
were on course to cross the road near the T-junction of Naas Road and
Honeysuckle Creek road, and then turn easterly towards Angle Crossing.
I think that someone else reported YFHEs at Boorooma Station some time ago
