Although it seems a commonplace act, the surrendering of a GBS
chart-in-progress by a person leaving Canberra, just possibly for the last
time as resident observer, should have been attended with more ceremony. We
shall miss you, Martin, and look forward to your Manhattan Missives (or
whatever), or at least the cardinal points. (I believe they are quite
strict about jay-walking there, but I think budgie-walking should be OK if
you say you're from Australia.)
