During lunch this beautiful Autumn day, at my Kambah
home:
- Three green Satin Bowerbirds feeding in the
neighbour's fig tree - we've had up to three during
each of the last four weeks

- Our first Striated Pardalote since last Spring

- Hundreds of honeyeaters migrating south-west. Of
course, the actual number will not be captured into
any data set owing to the wierd counting rules of the
GBS: I observed a max of about 30 in my GBS area at
any one time, and of course that's all I can put on
the GBS chart. Memo to person reviewing the GBS
methodology (oops method): pls note!
