Lucky you. March and November are peak abundance months for the Rufous Fantail in Canberra (so early April is not far out), (data from GBS Report). They migrate through at this time and appear in odd places. I wonder how many survive the cats in the suburbs. They would appear to be especially vulnerable. I know of at least one who was taken by a cat.
