Philip Re: raptors at GBS site. You may recall the following thread that entertained some of us post 18 Jan fires. cheers Richard Well the GBS week ended quietly with a BS Kite on its favourite perch. Taking that raptor tally to 9. This morning ... a new "week" and a kestrel. Also 45 YTBlack Cockies. Everyday they have headed towards Hughes and Garran returning in the evening. Perhaps they're around the golf courses (Federal and Capital). There were certainly lots of Gang-gangs up there when I used to live in Garran 12 yrs ago. In fact there were 6 Gang-gangs flying over Yarra Glen into Hughes today. In light of Joe's comments at the last meeting maybe me should monitor records of Gang-gangs more closely. Any thoughts. cheers Richard
Harrumph! Well at least I can console myself with the fact that I have at least had a hobby over my garden - and a young one, too. b |
