While running this morning in Black Mtn West I heard what sounded very like
a little lorikeet call go quickly (nearly said "swiftly" there, which would
have been confusing). I mentioned this to my (non-birding) running partner
who said she had seen two small green birds with red on their face sitting
on a wire along Caswell Drive as she drove over to Bruce. This is quite
close to where I heard the call. I'm not claiming the species, but anyone
going for a walk in the area over the weekend might keep their eyes and ears
open.

Martin
