Subject: | Gouldian Finch on Ginninderra Creek |

A friend of mine who
knows the bird rang me to say he saw a Gouldian Finch along Ginninderra Creek
ner Flynn about 9.30 this morning.
He described it as a
single male in the red phase with a red over white band on its left leg. It was
in grass on the left side of the Latham footbridge in the company of 3/4
thornbills. It allowed close inspection and was not disturbed by a pedestrian
with two unrestrained dogs. It flew off in the direction of
Charnwood.
