I thought I was just being blind in not seeing any associated with the storms this season but did eventually see four Needletails over Kippax shops early in February during a storm build-up - regret did not note the date.

Have any of you noted W-tN (or even FtS) over Canberra this summer?

The only swifts (White-throated Needletails) I've seen in the ACT this year were 6 flying low over my brother's place in Gooreen St (Reid) on 20 Feb (about 13:30 h I think - unsettled conditions with drizzle, winged termites in mass nuptial flight).

Only others I've seen all summer were 9 over Crookhaven Heads (near Nowra) on 29 Jan.
