Frances and I were there late this afternoon
and couldn't rouse any Night Herons out of the casuarnias. Much the same
story last year.
However, as a bonus there was a little grassbird
calling from the reeds on the N side of that peninsula. Also W-f Herons
and A-W ibis up in the trees.
