Hi Ron,
I’ve always managed to Rainbow Pitta at East Point Reserve (Darwin) at all
times of day which is accessible by bus if you don’t have a car. It has several
walking tracks through monsoon forest.
A little further out if you have a car is Howard Springs.
Warm regards,
Charles Hunter (Sydney)
