Hi Mike,

 

Recorded the following sightings whilst on a trip in the northern Torres Strait. All birds were heading north:

 

Boigu Island

18 January  0630-0650, whilst taking a dinghy up some of the rivers - 17 Pacific Swifts

19 January  mid-morning, stake out spot west of rubbish dump – 5 Uniform Swiftlets

20 January  c.1000, east end of airport – 1 Uniform Swiftlet

21 January  0640-0700, stake-out spot west of rubbish dump – 27 Pacific Swifts

 

Saibai Island

22 January  0736-0926, cemetery – 7 Uniform Swiftlets & 13 Pacific Swifts

23 January  0753-0800, cemetery – 1 Uniform Swiftlet, 5 White-throated Needletails, 1 Pacific Swift
