Date: Tuesday, January 19, 2021

Location: Rogues Point Yorke Peninsula

Brown Quail (Coturnix ypsilophora) (9) 2 Adult birds with 7 newly hatched 
chicks crossing road, after a bit of a panic 3 made it over the road and the 
rest stayed the other side.

Brown Quail (Coturnix ypsilophora) (4) 4 adults were sighted closer to the 
beach at James well.

Location: Black Point Yorke Peninsula

Elegant Parrot (Neophema elegans) (6) Birds were sighted on the track down to 
the beach

Dusky Woodswallow (Artamus cyanopterus) (2) Sighted driving through the town 
area

Fairy Tern (Sterna nereis) (11) Resting near the tide line

Location: Thompson's Beach Dublin

Eastern Curlew (Numenius madagascariensis) (4) Birds were resting close to 
mangroves and could be observed from that part of the beach when entered from 
from the beach path opposite prion road. Many other waders had been roosting in 
the Mangroves waiting for the tide to turn.
