Phil
I had the Whipbird at Cap de Couedic Lighthouse. Took me about 3 days to see the thing and it was brief views but they were there. Pretty well behind the houses. Not certain if that heath has burnt but that was the spot I tried the most.
Haven't looked for the Grasswren - I assume that is the inland (sub)species. I have only seen Striated at Hattah-Kulkyne
Cheers
Peter

Hi all

I will have some time for birding in South Australia in December.

I would be very grateful for any information sites fro White-throated Whipbird on Kangaroo Island, and any sites for Sandhill Grasswren anywhere in the state.

Please contact me off line at

Thanks very much
Phil.
