Hi Ross,
There is good birding in Centennial Park which is easily accessed by bus from Central Station. Sydney Olympic Park is good too and I access it from Concord West Station.

Hi all,

A friend of mine wants to spend a few days in Sydney. He would like to stay in Sydney where he could access some good birding spots on foot or by public transportation. He would also like a recommendation on a place to stay. He’s a very good birder but is less interested in listing than in seeing some interesting Aust birds.

Any help is much appreciated!
