I've put a proposal to the Queensland Government to convert large areas of hoop pine plantation in south-east Queensland to re-establish subtropical lowland rainforest, a critically endangered habitat. At the end of the post are government email addresses if anyone wants to flick an email to the ministers in support of the idea.
