Yesterday and today, January 3 and 4, two GREENFINCHES singing/ calling, from Willow and Monterey pines. First sighting for at least ten years. Also a locally unusual WHISTLING KITE gliding overhead today, much to the consternation of a single YTBlack Cockatoo feeding in a row of pines, which flew out screaming. Happy New Year.
