Hi, I've heard this bird (?) for several years. Never have seen it. It senses our approach and stops. It seems to be a ground dweller as we hear it croaking from a low/ground position, between two houses. We thought at first it was captive with the neighbours, but it has been heard on the other side of our house. I cannot find a website where I could post this except yours. Perhaps you know what it is? thank you.!
