Hi Birders,
I’m taking bookings for a world-first tour in May-June 2018 targeting four of
the most exciting parrot species in Australian birding: Princess Parrot, Night
Parrot, Nareetha Bluebonnet and Scarlet-chested Parrot. Full details of the
plan and booking information are available on my website at
http://www.birdingandwildlife.com/desert-parrot-expedition/
<http://www.birdingandwildlife.com/desert-parrot-expedition/>
This will be a 14 day expedition through the Western and Southern Deserts.
Accomodation will be scant, long days driving on rough roads will be the norm.
The birds we are seeking are challenging but well worth the considerable effort
involved.
Naturally, given the high profile of the species, any tour targeting Night
Parrot will come under considerable scrutiny. We have a comprehensive strategy
in place to ensure that the welfare of the birds comes first and that all
relevant legislation is complied with. Anyone with any valid concerns not met
by reading the species account on the web link given above is encouraged to
contact me directly to discuss in the first instance.

Happy Birding Everyone!
